University Basketball League (UBL) - August to October 2026
UniSport Nationals Tournament - Perth, 26th September to 2nd October 2026
The 2026 UNSW Elite Squad will form our extended squad rosters for our University Basketball League and UniSport Nationals teams for the 2026 season. Final teams for both will be selected from this extended squad after further training sessions post trials.
Our UBL program, is an 11-week competition running between August and October in 2026. It is a highly competitive league, where we play representative games against other universities from around Australia.
UniSport Nationals is a week-long tournament at the end of September, which will constitute a 'break week' in the UBL. It will be played in Perth, where teams from universities around Australia will travel to compete in a fun week of competition.

2026 TRIALS DETAILS
THIS TRIAL IS FOR THE UNSW BASKETBALL ELITE SQUAD - FINAL SELECTIONS FOR BOTH THE UBL SQUAD AND UNI NATIONALS TEAMS WILL BE SELECTED FROM THIS EXTENDED SQUAD.
2026 Trial Dates
WOMENS
Trial 1: Monday 20th April, 9am-10:30am
Trial 2: Wednesday 22nd April, 9am-10:30am (INVITE ONLY)
MENS
Trial 1: Monday 20th April, 10:30am-12pm
Trial 2: Wednesday 22nd April, 10:30am-12pm
All trials will be held at the UNSW fitness and aquatic center, on the level 1 basketball courts. The cost to trial is $10 for non-members, or free for UNSW Basketball Club Members, this can be paid cash or card upon entry to the courts.
